- Loan Officers (Outside)
Specific Duties:
We are looking for Top-Notch candidates who desire to earn what they are worth that can advise
potential borrowers regarding appropriate loan programs which may best suit their needs.
Stays abreast of changing developments in Advocate Mortgage Groups products, services, and pricing.
Outside prospecting using already established client base and cold calling potential clients with
three or more years of A-C mortgage lending experience that likes to work in a fast paced, high energy
environment.
Requirements:
College degree preferred.
Excellent oral, written and negotiation skills.
In-depth knowledge of Conventional, VA, FHA and Home Equity loan products.
Knowledge of PC applications, such as Outlook, Excel, and Microsoft Word.
Knowledge of basic loan underwriting practices and guidelines.
Knowledge of RESPA, TCPA, TILA, ECOA, HMDA, FCRA, privacy laws, Fair Lending practices and mortgage law generally, as well as investor and FHA and VA guidelines.
Strong customer service skills.
Demonstrated presentation skills.
Knowledge of the Internet.
Minimum three years of experience in the mortgage lending industry, preferably in a sales capacity.
Familar with Genesis, Point, Contour, LPI, and IMX.
Outside Origination experience preferred.
- Loan Processors
Specific Duties:
As a loan processor, your duties will include verification of loan files, ordering credit reports, preparation of good faith estimates
and disclosures. You will also analyze asset/income information - including personal and corporate tax returns. You'll handle
correspondence with clients, review reports, contracts and appraisals for accuracy and analyze cash flow on non-owner
properties. When all is complete you'll notify the mortgage consultants and submit the loan package to underwriters for
approval. You'll then manage any follow-up on approvals and their loan conditions. Experience with A-C paper,
jumbo loans, FHA, VA and seconds is essential.
Requirements:
College degree preferred.
Excellent oral, organization and written skills.
In-depth knowledge of Conventional, VA, FHA and Home Equity loan products.
Knowledge of PC applications, such as Outlook, Excel, and Microsoft Word.
Knowledge of basic loan underwriting practices and guidelines.
